Covering two storeys, the Folklore Museum provides insight into life and work in the villages of the southern Siegerland at the beginning of the 20th century. A separate exhibition is dedicated to the period of mining industry in the region. A natural history cabinet provides information on the insects and plants of the Siegerland.
The cultural-historical meeting place enables a “journey through time”: From the prehistoric history of the earth to the Stone Age and ancient civilisations to the Middle Ages and the modern era. Special exhibitions which go into more depth expand the spectrum.
