The guided tour “City Moments” is aimed at people with dementia and consists of a walk through the gardens of the Upper Castle. The meeting point is the coffee shop at the Siegerland Museum where the guests are welcomed and prepared for the tour. After about half an hour of getting to know each other, places in the castle gardens are visited which stimulate the senses. These include, for example, the view over Siegen from the viewpoint ‘Großer Krebs’ or the group of figures which comprise the Rubens Fountain.
When registering for this tour, further information will be requested as to whether and which health restrictions exist. This information is indispensable to the guide, so that the visit can be prepared as well as possible. The number of participants for “City Moments” is limited to six people with accompanying persons.
